Most of the time we stop short of fully walking in our spiritual inheritance, hindered with old covenant thinking, forgetting God’s provisions in His new covenant. We’ve been told we have to strive get be approved. We have to read more of the Word to be strong. We have to do all these things and then maybe God will be good to us. Everything gets left up to us and our doing. But God has already done all that we need as 2 Peter 1:3, NLT says. “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.” Live in this truth and you’ll live from the inside out.
