The Full Assurance Of Faith

^“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water” (Hebrews 10:22). In this passage, the writer of Hebrews compares the Old Testament Holy of Holy’s where no one but the high priest could come near to the new way. Through Jesus, that all changed. He made us, as it were, high priests. He consecrated us, giving us the ability to enter ourselves into the holiest places, and into the spiritual presence of God. He has given us a heart full of the assurance of faith to walk with Him, enter into His presence, and talk with Him whenever we desire. That is the confidence we have through the finished work of Jesus.
