“And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end” (Hebrews 6:11 NKJV). The writer to the Hebrews, which I think is Paul, wanted us to have full assurance. He wanted us to be completely convinced in our hearts to the completeness we have in Christ. We have full or completeness within us, and He wanted that to work out in useful tools as believers—full assurance of hope, faith, and salvation. No doubts, no questions, just full assurance. Our hope is in God alone to fulfill all His promises to us. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. We hope in what we do not yet see. We believe we will see those things for which we hope. We exercise our faith for what we hope.
