Just A Thought – April 12April 12, 2018
Not only do we combat anxiousness and fear with the Word, but we render worry as ineffective and of zero power in our lives. Paul said not to be anxious because God’s active peace is at work in your heart. The more you meditate on His Word and promises, the stronger you’ll be at combating worry. Worry bases it’s hold on the “what if’s” in life. God promises countering worry are based in His love and grace. Philippians 4:7 NLT puts it this way, “His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Change your thoughts from the “what if’s” to the promises of your God. He’s secured your peace already. Rest in Him and your heart will be in peace.
