So many people are staunch in their beliefs, yet when challenged and given another alternative, some compromise. A compromise deducts and weakens the meaning and intent. It accepts standards that are lower than is desirable. In your spiritual walk compromise should be an action never used.
You can’t compromise the Word of God. That’s what satan wanted Eve to do when he persuaded her to compromise what God told Adam by entertaining the compromising thought ‘Has God said…?’.
The enemy tries to get you to compromise believing God’s Word, His promises, His provisions, His guarantee. Why? Because he comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He knows the power of God’s Word, and if he can get you to compromise just a little, he’ll defeat you. But there’s good news.
As a child of God, you are fully equipped to push aside any compromise because Jesus resides in you. Ephesians 6:13 NASB, “Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.”
