Hello Faithful

^“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 1:1 NKJV). Besides saints, Paul also called them faithful. This statement does not mean some of them were faith and some weren’t and this letter was to the faithful.

This word also means “believers” so we could actually interchange the words. However, I like the word faithful because in many places scripture says God is faithful. Jesus is faithful and since we are “in Him” who He is faithful, we are. Our position is faithful. Is our behavior or attitudes always faithful? No, but our position in Christ is as the faithful ones. They are the ones who believe in the finished work of Jesus. We are the saints and faithful “in Christ Jesus”. That is our place, our position with God. So always, see yourself as the saints and faithful believers in Christ.
