Peace In Me

^“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NKJV). Over the next few days, let’s get some gold nuggets from this verse. The context is Jesus saying what the disciples could expect in the days to come.

Some items weren’t good but He also said they could pray in his name and they would receive. Reading some of the prophetic words one immediately thought bad days are ahead. However, He said I told you these things so you would have peace. “You will weep and lament.” Where is the peace in such a statement? Look again at the two words “in Me.” The peace is in Jesus. Yes, the days ahead may look bad but in Jesus, there is peace. There is no peace apart from Him.
