You can either enable or disable fear. Have you disabled fear? One popular Christian song makes this statement—fear, you are a Liar. If you listen to a liar, you enable the lie to affect your life. Pay no attention to a liar, don’t listen, and you disable fear from infiltrating your mind.
Jesus told people on numerous occasions “Fear Not”. Even Isaiah told Israel what God wanted them to hear in Isaiah 41:10, ESV. “fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Wow! God’s promise is still relevant. He said He is your God, and He will strengthen you, and uphold you.
I suggest you do what Joseph Prince suggests and choose to meditate on how Christ has paid the price for you to enjoy God’s unmerited favor, peace, protection, and provision. Focus on His goodness and fear won’t paralyze you.
