God Started A Good Work In You

^“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6). Of what very thing is Paul confident? He is convinced that if God started something in your life, He’ll complete it. Actually, he is convinced that God has started something in your life—“He hath begun.” If you think that nothing is happening in your life, you should know that isn’t true. God started something good in your life the moment you accepted Jesus as savior. He is working good all the time.

Perhaps the Philippians saw the bad things going on around them, and they saw that Paul was in prison, so they weren’t so sure God was even involved in the lives. Maybe you feel the same way. Things aren’t going as planned and life looks a little dismal right now. However, you can be confident that God is on your side working the good work He started in you.
