Just A Thought – September 30
September 30, 2018Just A Thought – October 1
October 1, 2018Perhaps you’ve heard the catch-phrase of late, “are you Hangry?” First time I heard it I wasn’t sure what they were talking about. Hangry? The person mentioning it was referring to food and being both extremely hungry and angry because she was hungry. Granted it mainly refers to food and/or dieting, yet there is another question to ask. Are You Hangry? Angry at God or hungry for Him?
Many folks, and even believers, are angry at God. They blame Him for their problems and the choices they’ve made. They don’t understand or fully know God’s great love for them because they only see Him by rules and regulations.
We all need to have a hunger for God. That’s how David put it in Psalm 42:1, NIV, “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.” When you see His goodness and experience His love, you won’t be angry. You’ll run into His arms of love, grace, and an expectation for His good in your life.
