There is nothing magical about spiritual thoughts or thinking spiritually. It is, according to Clint Byars, understanding the nature of what influences our thinking and the concept of seed time and harvest. Throughout the Gospels we see Jesus instructing His disciples—and us—to hold His Word in our hearts. Why? Because His Words which are seeds which will bear fruit.
Letting the Word rule your thinking is planting it in your heart and mind. It is as Philippians 4:8 says, thinking on the things that are true, of good report. The more you do that, the sooner you’ll have a vision for the truth of the Word in your heart. You’ll go from ‘seeing’ to believing because the Word is growing in your heart. You are changing your carnal, worldly thinking to spiritual thinking according to your new nature as a born-again child of God.
