Paul was the Apostle of Grace and his admonitions throughout his books are to encourage and help us grow in God’s provisions, secured through Jesus for us. He puts it this way in Ephesians 1:17-19 and verse 17 (ESV) is Paul’s admonition: “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.”
EW Kenyon said “…now the Spirit wants to take all of those things that we have admired in Jesus and build them into us.” Think about that for a minute. There’s a process going on, a building of truth upon truth of the finished work in Jesus that benefits you and I.
You have all of Jesus as a child of God. That means you have the spirit of His wisdom, of a greater understanding and revealing of Jesus. How do you build upon that foundation? By reading the Word, receiving, and filling your heart with the truth of your new covenant rights. So, dig in and keep building.
