Several of the phrases I hear from believers quite often is “I can’t …” and “I don’t know how to …” Maybe you’ve been there. We usually say things like that when we aren’t confident in ourselves or our abilities or we feel pressured beyond what we are comfortable in doing.
When you’re faced with something like that it’s time to draw on the power of God’s Word, and Jesus’ ability in you. Paul said “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
You may not know how strong you are on the inside. That’s when you step aside, reaffirm His Word to you, and walk forward. Don’t focus on yourself and what you can’t do because you’re putting the emphasis on you. When you do, you’ll come up with the excuses that you can’t and you don’t know how.
Whatever it is, you can do what needs to be done through Christ’s power in you. Keep your focus on His promises and you’ll see them take shape in your life.
