In our world and society of loud noisemakers, let’s remember our hidden man of the heart rules the outer or seen man of the senses (EW Kenyon). We are people who need reminders because we can easily get off track in our thinking and believing. Why is that? Because of the clamor around us. “Be still and know that I am God” should be our reminder each time we hear the news or read the paper.
We have a choice each day—to be ruled by the hidden man of our heart with God’s power and Word, or be ruled and swayed by what is temporal and tickles our senses. The Word will work in you, building Jesus’ life in you, building life, faith, love, strength, and grace into you (Kenyon).
How do you allow the hidden man of your heart to override the obstacles you see and hear? By knowing your identity in Christ, and the power of His Word working in you (Proverbs 4:20-22) because His Word is life and health to you.
