Where Do You Put Your Trust?

Why do some people have a hard time trusting God? Perhaps they haven’t had someone close they felt they could trust? Perhaps others they considered close friends were untrustworthy? Regardless, God is trust worthy. He can be trusted totally, every time, all the time. He doesn’t change.

David knew he could trust God and gave voice to what he believed in Psalm 18:2, NKJV – “My God, my strength, in whom I will trust.” In all the difficulties David encountered during his life he continued trusting in his God, and God was faithful to David.

Webster defines trust as ‘firm belief in the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something.’ God’s character never changes—Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. That’s why He’s there when you need a shield of protection, a shield from the darts of the enemy, from the assaults of the world. He shields, protects, gives you strength, and saves/delivers you. Yes, you can trust Him.
