This picture should speak volumes to you. Whatever your situation is, whatever you face today or yet this week, this picture illustrates two specific verses, and they’re for you today.
Proverbs 24:16, NASB, says “For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again.” The righteous don’t stay down and out. They get up again—YOU get up again. You aren’t succumbed by tragedy or scary world events. You are righteous because of Jesus, and He’s in you. Nothing can keep you down.
You are also an overcomer. That’s how Romans 8:37 (NIV) describes you. “No, in all these things [whatever obstacles and situations] we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” You are an overcomer, not you will be an overcomer. Right now, today, you are an overcomer because of Jesus. It’s who you are.
Renew your thinking in the truth of these verses and you’ll soar past the obstacles every time.
