Had you considered why God gives us the example of a good shepherd who leads his flock by the still waters (Psalm 23)? Think about it for a minute. They’ve been enjoying the quiet of green pastures. If he led them by noisy, quickly moving waters, the sheep would freak out.
Isn’t that the same with us? Jesus will always be the still, quieter voice [than the world around you] that says ‘go this way, it’s better’. He won’t lead you into chaos, uncertainty, or where you aren’t peaceful about the situation. That’s God’s grace. That’s His love—leading you, guiding you.
You can be confident in following His direction, and He’ll always lead you into pastures full of His goodness and blessings and grace.
