Divine Change Of Plans

There are times when we get frustrated and probably irritated because our plans change—not because of something we caused. It happens to all of us. During those times do we stay in the mulleygrubs or do we rejoice knowing that God will work it out?

Our daughter recently had such an experience. She was due to fly out-of-state for some work. She got to the airport, onto the plane, and then they told everyone there were some mechanical problems.

Psalm 91:3-4, NLT, says: “For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.”

As they yet waited on the plane before the announcement, our daughter said she had a horrible feeling about the flight and prayed that if she wasn’t supposed to be on the plane to provide a way for her to get off. Then the announcement that everyone would need to get off the plane.

Be assured and confident that Jesus will keep you safe because He is your protection and deliverer.
