Inside Living

John wrote an interesting thought in John 17:4. “…I finished the work which you gave me to do.” We may slip over that verse thinking it only refers to salvation that Jesus provided for us. But there’s much more. Jesus lived in the realm of “done”. He fulfilled God’s plan, God’s New Covenant provisions for those who would take them. It isn’t just salvation that He provided. It’s healing, provision, peace, joy, continued favor, and blessing transferred to you when you receive Jesus. It’s so much more than ‘fire insurance’.

Jesus knew about inside living. That’s where He lived. He knew the provisions His life would provide for those taking it. He willingly lived from the reality of it is finished. That’s where God wants you to live—from the position of what He finished for you.

Are you participating in inside living? The work is done. Focus on what Jesus finished for you, and rest, stay in that reality. It’ll change your whole world.
