Living From The Inside Out

Over a year ago I couldn’t get away from these words that kept coming to my mind: living from the inside out. I recognized the Holy Spirit gave me the ‘theme’ for our website this year. He was also encouraging me to live from the inside out.

So often in our day-to-day lives, we live from what happens out there or what happens to us, those outward forces coming against us. Most of us are not living from the inside. We live from the outside, many times from our emotions, letting them rule our thoughts and actions. However, Galatians 2:20 ESV makes it pretty clear: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.”

The more we understand the power of this particular verse, the more we understand the reality of living from the inside out. The old us is gone—dead. We’re new. Jesus lives IN us. Therefore, we are to live from the reality of what’s inside of us—God’s power, favor, blessings because we are IN Christ.

Keep gaining a deeper understanding of living from the inside out in your personal life. Live from that reality and you’ll soar like an eagle every time.
