At times in our lives we need to be ready for new things that often bring changes. We see this New Year as an opportunity for new avenues of growth and ministry because of God’s great love and grace. This is a new era for you, so embrace it.
Be a child who truly delights in small pleasures that fill you with awe and wonder. Be the child who squeals with excitement over the monarch butterfly landing on the flower next to you. Be the child who smiles as ocean waves break on the shore. Be the child who embraces goosebumps when God’s love envelops you. Be the child who doesn’t see the impossibilities in front of you but who walks confidently, knowing possibilities are just around the corner.
A recent TV commercial for a college program says to explore the possibilities. We’ve set the stage for you in this New Year. We call the possible into reality in your life. Recognize the need for a renewed process of thinking from the basics of your spiritual walk and beyond because you won’t be able to see or experience God’s good around every corner if you haven’t renewed your mind in God possibilities.
