Just A Thought October 21, 2020
October 21, 2020In wrapping up our study of the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6, we find the conclusion we should reach each time we pray because it lifts up Jesus. Again, we’re praying from our position IN Him, therefore, the praise, thanksgiving, and glory go to our God.
13”For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
The more we finalize our declaration in Jesus and what He has done for us (His finished work), the more we’re in line with the Word. We began by acknowledging and honoring God in our knowledge of Jesus. We conclude now with praise and thanksgiving because we see His provision, His deliverance, and His continual leading in our lives.
Our focus has changed. We’re renewing our minds and securing the truth of God’s love and goodness in our hearts allowing us to stand strong and confident in what God has promised to do in our lives. We’re putting the Word in operation and are confident in its truth and reality in us.
The more you put the Word to work in your life, the more you will see God’s goodness, grace, and love in greater depth and understanding. Here are some questions you can consider and answer from our study of the Lord’s Prayer. You can also use these questions with other scriptures.
What have you learned about God through this study? What have you learned about yourself from digging into these scriptures? What has changed in your thinking? How have you renewed your mind and heart in the truth of God’s Word?
Remember, the joy of the Lord is your strength. He is with you always, and He provides all your need to enjoy life. Let the glory of His Kingdom shine through you.
The Lord bless you.
His is the kingdom and power and glory forever.
