Guaranteed For Life – Part 3

We’re highlighting further benefits and guarantees God gives us in Part 3 this week. These guarantees are forever but we get to enjoy them now.

We’re taking time to highlight some of the benefits so you can settle your heart and mind in God’s love as you prepare to enter another New Year. Your benefits and guarantees haven’t expired, no will they ever. God is faithful, and wants to bless you even more.

God’s Salvation                  God’s Goodness

We enjoy the guarantee of God’s Salvation through Jesus. What a wonderful gift. When we breathe our last here on earth, we’ll be ushered into Heaven where we can continue enjoying God’s love and blessings. That’s why we need to make sure we believe Jesus and what He purchased for us. John 3:16 is the main verse I’m sure you’re familiar with. God gave Jesus to stand in our place as sin and because of His sacrifice, we receive life eternal. That’s an eternal guarantee for sure, and one you don’t want to leave home without.

Understand it is God’s great LOVE for you that Jesus came. When you know how much God loves you, you’ll embrace His salvation.

God’s goodness is seen throughout scripture, especially through David’s life as he shares many times in Psalms. You’re familiar I’m sure with Psalm 23:6 ESV: “Surely goodness and mercy [lovingkindness] shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” No matter what is going around the world or in your life, God’s goodness is always available—for you!

Look also at what David declared in Psalm 27:13, NIV: “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” Notice where David’s confidence is—in God’s goodness.

God’s goodness includes ALL that God is and that was expressed through Jesus. Although you see much un-good in the world, that’s not God. Jesus declared it in Mark 10:11, NLT: “Only God is truly good.” No matter what is going on, God’s goodness is revealed to you. You can be assured to walk in it each day.

Let all of these guarantees that we’ve highlighted settle your heart as you prepare for a New Year. Be confident in God’s promises because they are yours.
