Guaranteed For Life

Are there ANY guarantees for LIFE? I’m sure you’ve heard the old adage of we’re always guaranteed death and taxes. That’s discouraging isn’t it? Those aren’t guarantees you necessarily want to be reminded of.

Let’s talk about some uplifting, encouraging guarantees for your life.

    God’s Love                 God’s Peace                   God’s Blessings

   God’s Grace               God’s Salvation               God’s Goodness

I’m sure there are others that come to your mind, but we’ll look at these in light of what God has guaranteed to those who believe in Him. Part 1 is today.

So many think God is mean and out to get them. Some think they’ve done too many bad things and God is mad at them. God is Love. James 1:17 says that there is no shadow of turning in Him. That means He can’t change His mind. He is love and can’t be anything else. He is always the same (the same yesterday, today, forever- Hebrews 13:8). It’s time we renewed our minds in God’s goodness, in His love. Until you know God’s love in your heart, you’ll always wonder if He love you. He DOES! Look at 1 John 4:7 and John 3:16. There is nothing that can ever separate us from His Love. God’s love is the constant, and the more you receive His love, the more you know the constant love He provides. He’s never mad at you. He’s always there for you. God’s LOVE is an eternal guarantee for you.

We also have the guarantee of God’s PEACE surrounding us. When things are crazy around us and we’re tempted to fear, He provides His Peace that calms the storms and stills our hearts. Fear can’t remain when Peace takes over (Philippians 4:7). He told the disciples that He gave them His Peace. Peace from the One who IS Peace. Ephesians 2:14 as well as John 14:27 speak to your peace. When you need some peace in your life, draw on the peace Jesus offers. You’ll find it lasts throughout any and all trouble.

In the meantime, encourage yourself in these verses. Meditate on God’s goodness to you. It’s a bigger picture of just how much He loves YOU!
