When you’re turning a kaleidoscope you might not want to leave one colorful design because you are enjoying its beauty. Yet, as you turn the cylinder you find another awesome design, one that excites you once again. You enjoy the shapes, the distinct colors, the design. You’re thinking it is the best one yet. To me it’s a description of the ever-increasing love and grace of God. I think that’s why He gave us rainbows to enjoy, awesome sunrises and sunsets, and the ‘northern lights’. Each display God’s magnificent design and color. Each draws us to personally experience the God who created such beauty for us.
As we’ve looked at the kaleidoscope of God through a brief study of Romans 8, we end on a high note, a note of strength and might. It’s not our strength and might, but His.
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us”, Romans 8:37, ESV. In any of the things Paul mentioned that could try to separate us from God’s love, we are more than conquerors. You and I conqueror the obstacles in our lives when we anchor our trust in Jesus and what God has called us to—His family as His child.
Only when you know who you are in Him can you stand in that authority and position. You are a child of God. You are dearly beloved. You are righteous through Jesus. You are blessed in all you do. You are the head and not the tail. You are more than a conqueror, an overcomer. You walk in His authority here in this earth. You carry the mantle and authorization of His love, grace, and peace to everyone you meet.
There is nothing than can overcome your stand and faith in Him. That’s the awesome design you see in your kaleidoscope. That’s what draws you to know Jesus further, to feed on His Word, to walk in fellowship with Him.
You are an overcomer, more than a conqueror because Jesus lives in you.
