“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may
abound in hope.” Romans 15:13, ESV
The times we are living in leaves many without hope. Yet, hope is essential for each person. As believers, you and I are not without hope. We have hope because of Jesus. Our God is the God of Hope. He is the one who surrounds us and encourages us with hope. Is God feeling hopeless—without hope? I think not!
This year we are looking more into HOPE – what it is, how it works, and how do we avail ourselves of it. In other words, how do we make the Word of Hope practical in our everyday lives.
Meditate on Romans 15:13 (above) each day. Consider how the God of Hope is filling you with joy and peace as you believe—Him and His Word. Recognize how HOPE is abounding in your thoughts and actions each day.
Remember, you are not without hope as a believer. Keep hope alive in your heart and mind through meditating on the Word and encouraging yourself in all that Jesus has done for you and continues to do. HOPE will see you through to the end, so fortify yourself in our God of Hope.
