The Power of Faith and Hope

Faith and Hope operate together and are powerful. Hebrews 11:1 NIV puts it this way: “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Faith believes and trusts in what is not momentarily seen. When that faith is directed to God, you’ve added all His resources available for you. Simply put, faith believes and trusts. When you put your faith and trust in God, in His faithful promises, and all that Jesus has provided, you’ve got supernatural power giving you assurance or confidence—hope—in those promises being fulfilled for you.

It comes down to believing God is good, that He is good to you, that He loves you, and has many blessings for you. When you believe how much He loves you, you’ll change your thinking about Him. Your trust in Him will expand and faith will propel you forward in hope.

The more you find out what God has provided for you through Jesus, and the more you continue to feed on His promises, His Word, the stronger your trust in Him will be. You’ll begin to put your faith into action, letting His Word become practical in your daily life. Hope arises from a growing faith. 

Be encouraged and let your faith provide the confidence for what is not yet seen that God has promised you. Faith and Hope are powerful.
