Filled To Overflowing

I recently had a bucket so FULL of water that it sloshed out over the edges as I carried it from the outside faucet to the porch to rinse off pollen. The full bucket was overflowing and it left patches of moisture along the sidewalk and steps until I could empty it onto the porch.

That reminded me of how we should be filled up with HOPE – HOPEFULL! Our Hope should be full and expectant…full of God’s Word, His promises…full of our anticipation of His goodness for us. Yes, we are hopeful because He continues to fill us with His hope, His goodness and blessings.

There are 2 verses I want to cement in your minds and hearts regarding being full of hope=Hopefull. Even in the midst of trials and troubles, you can overflow with God’s love, anointing, peace, joy, and hope.

Romans 15:13, NIV which says: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Psalm 23:15, NIV which says: “…You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

Let’s not settle for a half bucket of God’s overflow of blessings – let’s expect the bucket to be so full it overflows and we, in turn, splash his love and goodness on others. You ARE Filled to Overflowing.
