God Is Able to Take Care of What Concerns You

Many times, we all try to handle problems and situations on our own. I’m sure you’ve been there. I’ve talked to some believer who have a difficulty thinking God is too busy to help us, or their problems are not a priority to Him. We sell ourselves short on understanding how much God cares for us.

God is not too busy but is interested in the problems and difficulties you face. To think otherwise is to not understand just how much He loves you.

Look at Luke 12:7, NLT: “…the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.” Wow! If God knows how many hairs are on our head, how much more will He be aware of our concerns and needs?

There are no symptoms, no condition or discomfort in your body that He doesn’t know of or care about. And no event that has happened to you has escaped His notice. His love is all-encompassing—in all areas of your life.

I think we fail to acknowledge Him when we face difficult times. We think we can handle it ourselves, or the all-too-often thought “God is too busy to be concerned about me”. That isn’t true, so delete it from your thoughts.

Encourage yourself with the Word of His Grace. Read, memorize, and tell yourself what 3 John 1:2 NAS declares. “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers” (italics mine). John knew the depth of God’s love and care. He gave his encouragement so we could rely on the Lord, not our limited understanding.

Change your thinking about how much God cares for you. Embrace His love. Today especially you can walk in greater peace and joy as His treasured, beloved child.
