Blessed Is the One

Here’s Jack’s latest book.

“Blessed is the one…” These ancient words open the gateway into a psalm rich with promise, contrast, and purpose. But what do they mean for us today, on this side of the Cross?

In Blessed Is the One, journey through Psalm 1 as you’ve never seen it before, through the lens of grace and the New Covenant of Christ. This thoughtful and inspiring study explores the historical and cultural context of David’s psalm while unveiling how its truths find deeper fulfillment in Jesus and the writings of the New Testament.

What does it mean to be a tree planted by streams of living water in a world of shifting sands? How do we understand righteousness, fruitfulness, and prosperity in light of Christ’s finished work? And how do we read warnings about the wicked without turning the gospel into a message of fear?

This book invites believers to step out of a performance-driven mindset and into the rest-filled reality of the New Covenant. With pastoral warmth and biblical insight, “Blessed Is the One” bridges the wisdom of Psalm 1 with the liberating truth that we longer earn righteousness but receive it in Christ.

Whether you’re a longtime student of Scripture or exploring grace for the first time, this book will deepen your understanding, challenge your assumptions, and leave you delighting in the Lord like never before.

You are not the blessed one because you did everything right. You are the blessed one because you are in Christ, the Righteous One.
