The Case of the Missing Sidekick

A Paul Savage – Private Eye Novel

Private investigator Paul Savage has always believed that a good eye, a little common sense, and the occasional consultation with his PI correspondence course can solve most mysteries. His new assistant, Madison, has other ideas. Armed with computer skills, modern technology, and a determination to bring Savage Investigations into the twenty-first century, she’s about to change the way Paul does business.

With Rufus, his faithful four-legged companion, keeping watch over the office couch, Paul finds himself juggling several unusual cases. An elderly woman’s garbage cans keep moving mysteriously, a family searches for a missing loved one, and a suspicious wife wants to know whether her husband is seeing another woman.

What begins as a routine surveillance assignment soon takes a dangerous turn. Madison follows a trail of suspicious activity and stumbles onto something far more serious than an unfaithful husband. When she disappears, Paul must rely on his instincts, a handful of photographs, and a little help from Rufus to find her before it’s too late.

Blending mystery, suspense, and dry humor, the fourth installment of the Paul Savage, Private Eye series follows a detective who discovers that even an old-fashioned investigator can learn a few new tricks.

Especially when his new partner insists on teaching them.
